Five ways to beat procrastination

By Raúl Gorrín.-      As we have already mentioned in previous deliveries, procrastination is the postponement or posture of the tasks or issues that have pending to execute. It is the habit of delaying activities that have and should be in place and replaced by other irrelevant work. Plus, it is always difficult to take the first step and that is the great challenge that all entrepreneurs have, to overcome the initial resignation, and the obstacle that prevents the first advance in an entrepreneurship project.

Right now, we are going to show you five ways to combat it:

1. Dedicate yourself to a single subject. It has been determined that one of the causes of procrastination is to be in the presence of large tasks that are overwhelming. Concentrate on a single issue and move forward, divide the larger projects and other smaller and more manageable goals to help move forward without paying attention to the size of the project.

2. Set deadlines, it can’t be all the time in the world to do a task. Watch for deadlines, either because you impose yourself or because the clients demands quick responses. This avoids distractions.

3. Don’t seek perfection but concretion, that‘s why it is better to speak of "finished" than "perfect". Seeking perfection can mean the end of many brilliant ideas about business and products and / or services. It is better to focus on your efforts to give your best in the place of wanting to seek perfection.

4. Clear your mind, a good walk without thinking will serve to relax. It has been determined that performing an exercise helps. Thinking stubbornly about an idea can only increase your level of anxiety. Rest will allow you to break the vicious circle of procrastination and get closer to your goals.

5. Work, don’t wait for inspiration. The creation is one percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. Let's do it.

The strategy needs to be reconsidered, as the parts agree that they are taking on the most appropriate strategy for all. It should be defined what role every organization will play in the alliance that will be formed.

The strategic alliance can’t be removed from the organizational culture or the structure. It should be a process which all factors, all variables, all pros and cons are weighed in order to make the most balanced decision. However, the construction of the alliance involves an exhaustive analysis of the activities being carried out in order to determine which of these activities are carried out efficiently and, don’t count them. Also, make a proper labor division and establish the activities that are in a charge of every part.

In addition, regarding the structure of the alliance that determines the outline which the partners’ activities of the strategic alliance are developed. The structure will determine the strategic and operational objectives. Strategic strategy agreement is the last of the steps and the guidelines are clear in the contract letter. Such a contract should contemplate the mechanisms through distribution of the income will take place.
