Formula that doesn’t fail for micro-enterprises

   By Raúl Gorrín.-  The economy to make it work requires the convergence of several factors and variables that have to work in parallel and harmonious way for the supply to work. In the economy there are two concepts that are fundamental: development and production. Societies grow and develop through production, creation, diversification and application. The economic expansion that results in development is possible through the emergence of figures, instruments and entities, such as micro-enterprises and small and medium enterprises, which focus their activity on the efficient production of goods and services that society needs.

     Micro-enterprises and SMEs are the ones that generate the greatest amount of employment in the world; they are the axis of growth and economic development of the countries of the world. It is best to encourage economic expansion in innovative areas at a reduced cost. Moreover, in times of crisis if they are not supported by economic policies that make easy their financing, economies are at risk of collapse with the serious consequences that this entails in loss of employment and production of goods and services.

     On this side of the world, microenterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises are the major sources of economic resources. On the African continent, microenterprise has become the driving force of the economy through microcredit. Among each continent you vary the requirements that make organizations fit or not in the category of microenterprise, for example, while in America its category depends on incomes that generally don‘t exceed five million dollars, in Europe they are classified by the number of jobs that generate to enter the classification can’t be more than 250 workers.

     In order for the binomial to aim at the improvement, it is necessary to promote quality and competitiveness in the criteria of creation of small and medium enterprises and in this way, we will be in the presence of economic optimization. Innovation has to govern the processes of micro-enterprises and SMEs, and we will surely be witnessing the process of economic recovery that is so lacking in these times of crisis.
