The rights established in the law, family obligations and conflict resolution were dealt  in detail during the First Workshop on Rights and Duties of Children and Adolescents promoted by Seguros La Vitalicia for program grantees "Una carrera por el futuro". This time, it was the students of the U.E.N. Francisco Espejo de El Cafetal, Caracas, who received the license Nieves Pelayo, a defender of children and adolescents from Miranda state, to exchange impressions in daily cases related to child abuse, the importance of values in solving situations, criminal responsibility in teenagers and actions that every can and should take when reporting cases inside their family and community environment.

Moreover, "Una carrera por el futuro" program is not only an economic incentive, but also to fully support the young student of senior year with high average and scarce resources with a series of dynamic meetings on issues of personal improvement and citizen training that will drive them to achieve their goals in life based on study, effort and excellence. For the coordinator of this educational unit, Kadia Guilarte, the workshops help our teenagers to assume the responsibility of leading their own lives, "matters such as: decision-making, project life, health care and food wouldn’t only be useful and valuable for them, but also would serve to promote positive change in their homes, and that is exactly what is intended".
