By Raúl Gorrín.- For companies, it is important that their
workers conform to that corporate culture and in fact is one of the demands
that they usually make, but this doesn’t mean that the employee should abandon
their own convictions to assume as their own the organization. Whoever arrives
in a company should assume the policies and adapt to them, unless they are
hiring to change them and establish new rules in the organization.
The
corporate culture sets rules that workers have to follow and relate with the
client according to the rules that are marked.
We talk about working together to achieve the goals of the organization.
The internal criticism should be welcomed every time if it is constructive. Likewise,
the worker needs to maintain a proactive activity that heads-up him to make
proposals and contributions to reach those results.
The organization
should have pay attention to comments that are part of the development and
business growth. Not always the vision of the directive is the most appropriate
and rarely the decision in executive meeting doesn’t adapt to the reality that
the workers live day by day. That’s why workers have to be taken into account
by the bosses, to attend their proposals.
It is up to
the middle management to assume an attitude of voice that makes easy the
communication among the top management and the workers and technical employees.
It should be empathy, willingness to dialogue so the business culture really
can respond to the reality and authentic needs of the organization. Business
culture can’t become a source of discord but of understanding. The top
management and the workers need to push in the same direction, but that
direction is product of the collective agreement.
