humanistic management was born of a group of dreamers in Switzerland. It is a
concept based on dialogue that takes into account the dignity of the human being
in management positions. It is to understand learning as something beautiful,
where mistake is welcome, is not punished but either, is not rewarded.
The road that leads to success is full of
joys, triumphs and celebrations, but also difficulties, doubts and moments
where we feel that it is best to go back and quick, which tests our character
and ability to stay on the path. This helps us to reach our personal,
professional and business purposes.
The humanistic management function has
many implications related to the ability to discover and value the employee’s
contribution to the organization productivity. It is more about recognizing
what is obtained, but also the assignment of recognizing what is given.
Experts in these topics believe that the
humanist manager has in his responsibility as a good leader to drag the team to
success. It should be a guide about the abilities for those who deliver their
skills and knowledge in their assignments. It is about valuing the triumph as a
collective achievement, as an experience that is consolidated in the
collaboration and that is not in competition.
It is about making every worker discover
in his daily management an opportunity to grow and learn a space where they
consolidate theirs links and relations with those who are theirs allies in the
pursuit of the goal by the company. Management in the humanist vision is an
activity that involves many responsibilities; perhaps, one of the most
important has to do with identifying competitions to locate them where their
natural talent is.
To conclude this reflection, I would like
to invite those who hold management positions to promote it in their work teams
to the spaces construction of successful business that goes beyond their labor
participation.
