means remain sitting. Experts in healthy workday offer some advices for the
time we dedicate and we remain in the office.
Here we have some simple
rules to follow:
First, control you posture.
We are hours working on the desk, it’s important to have comfortable furniture
that we can use to improve our posture. Also, the desk should be roomy; the
seat should have armrest and a flexible back. In addition, a stop in the
morning will help us to reactivate our body and mind.
Second, if we work standing we should sit
down now and then and use reinforced instep shoes and low heel. It’s important
to establish a priority order to the work, control the time or the moment to do
a phone call that can help to optimize the work.
Third, illuminate your work area. The
natural light is healthier, attenuate by curtains to modulate luminosity. If
you don’t, you will have visual fatigue, headaches, somnolence and lack of concentration.
Fourth, eat healthy since it is necessary
control our diet. Fruits can decorate our desks and also, is healthy because
give us energy for the daily workday in the office.
Fifth, decorate you office / desk. It is
for a good mental health, is the best company. They are our essential elements
support.
Sixth, the plants help to reduce the
stress and increase the optimism and productivity. It is better to chose those
who can last the whole year, those who can adapt to any type of light and those
without flowers because it requires of a great care.
Seventh, the noise, the smell or
temperature can affect the well being and concentration in the work. For this
reason, it is better to have our cell phone and the telephone office with
little sound, likewise the sound effects of the computer.
Eighth, finish our workday with our free
mind to enjoy the free time. Studies say we should organize the office at the
end of our workday and take note what’s we have to do the next day.
