Positive psychology: makes us happier enemies

     


By Raúl Gorrín.- In our professional activities, we often find managers don’t know how to lead and don’t see the difference between being a manager and being a leader. They are complementary things to develop to be able to move on.

     A director is dedicated to control the budge, organize and provide staff, control and solve problems, while a leader goes beyond. They should be those who provide the possibility of change and adaptation for the company. They define the direction with the future vision that united to the people in the desired direction, those who inspire and motivate to follow the proposes for success.

     According to this, it is easier to be a simple manager than a leader who leads and many at some point don’t know how to lead our own company. For that, there are many strategies such as, the contributions that we offer like positive psychology.

     There are many ways to motivate people who work with us. Take a look of these tips:
·         Create a safe environment where confidence, humor and creativity can be developed.
·         Use your strengths in the work and encourage our workers to use theirs.

·         Use compassion and empathy.

·         Listen to the workers.

·         Be a coach, teacher and trainee at the same time.

·         Live according to our values.

·         Use happiness as a resource.

     The knowledge of positive psychology clarifies the purpose of what we are. What matters, is promoting happiness to everyone and being happier as entrepreneurs.
